Eastern White Pine: Limited Edition Giclee Print
This signed, limited-edition giclée print captures my plein air illusion of an Eastern White Pine in Amherst, NY. Only 60 will be made, each hand-signed, titled, and numbered. Secure yours today.
Common Reed Grass
Native to Eastern North America, the Eastern White Pine is celebrated for its tall, straight, and graceful form, with soft, bluish-green needles that grow in clusters of five. Known as a “Tree of Peace” by the Iroquois (Haudenosaunee), these needles symbolize the unity of the Five Nations.
I personally planted this tree years ago with an organization as part of a restorative effort to replace aging trees, prevent erosion along the canal, and support local biodiversity. It was part of a group of three, with one lost during nearby construction, and this tree went through a rough phase, looking sickly for a time. Now stronger than ever, it stands as a living reminder that peace and healing go hand in hand.
